Rich Gaines is a partner with Legacy Legal, a leader in uniting families toward a common vision creating a legacy lasting for generations and making a difference in the world. Legacy Legal is number one in family legacy systems.

After twenty five years of work as a tax and legacy planning attorney, Rich realized that people, when given a chance, like to express deeper emotions and desires about their individual and family purpose, vision, goals and legacy. Rich found that when people talk about their beliefs, their values, their intentions, and the importance of what they do in life that they gain greater clarity about how to assure their plans and values are honored and respected.

From his second year in law school, Rich was passionate about using the tax law to benefit people in forming solid generational legacies. He brings a unique learning approach to legacy planning allowing people to experience and explorer new opportunities and possibilities for themselves and their families. Rich conducts workshops in a fun, interactive and provocative way where people actively participate in building a secure future for themselves and their family.

Over the years, Rich has published various articles on the Legacy Planning process, been a leader for the North San Diego County Bar Tax Section, served on boards of directors for various prominent charitable organizations, an educator at the University of Phoenix and a guest speaker throughout San Diego County.
