What others had to say about the Center events.

Wow! The Business Legacy Mentoring  event on Wednesday far exceeded my expectations. Several years ago I worked with the Center on the early versions of this program. Wednesday’s program including the round table discussion with Charlie Martin and other facilitators was SO much better than our beginning program. This past Wednesday, I really felt like we all connected and that we each had a chance to hear the other’s heart and passion. I am not used to so much transparency among people that I have not met previously. I have already finished the second chapter of Art of Leadership this AM, applied the idea of delegating responsibility not tasks, (Thanks Stacy) and had a mutually beneficial follow up with Leslie. As I said “Wow! Wednesday AM far exceeded my expectations!” I plan on being a regular at each of these BLM events from now on. A business coach has been badgering me to “do networking meetings.” I have resisted because of the self promotion or should I say assertiveness, goes against my grain. Not true with Wednesday’s event.  It felt closer to: “we are all under construction. Let’s build each other up”. Wow!.. wait I already said that.”

“The Inspiration Awards celebrate individuals who go to extraordinary lengths to improve our community and world.  This lovely evening is an excellent opportunity to network with philanthropic individuals, find out about others’ passions, and enjoy a delightful and inspirational program.  I highly recommend it!”

“Last night, Oct 26th, 2011, was a fantastic evening event. I think I did more networking with more influential people than I have ever done! Funny thing about the folks at that event, there were very few pretenses, most of them were attentive, sincere about questions that they asked and answered my questions in a straightforward manner. The content for the most part was good as well, the first speaker held my attention the most. Thank you very much for the invite. I really enjoyed myself. It was a fascinating evening.”

“I recently volunteered at the San Diego Food Bank for the first time with my husband Josh, sister-in-law and other members of the Center for Wealth and Legacy. I was instantly amazed at the size of the facility and the number of senior citizens, children and at risk adults that need the support of the Food Bank and its volunteers. My eyes are now opened to the number of people in our local community that are suffering from hunger. I was astonished to hear the number of people and children that need our help. I’m extremely thankful for the introduction to this organization. It was a rewarding experience and a well-organized event that I plan to continue to support with my family and others. Thank you to the Center for Wealth and Legacy for helping all of us reach out and make a difference in our community.”

“Congratulations on a verysuccessful inaugural event! Nice presentations by all. Lot’s of good information everyone needs to know. Raised some questions for me about how we’re handling our rental property. The demographics presentation was full of surprises not the least of which is the impact of demographics on literally everything.”
