Ben is an experienced technical director, whose role necessitates him to continually evolve with the changing technological environment and remain in touch with the major changes that impact the information technology (IT) industry on a continual basis. Contrary to the common impression that computing and information management is a dry and mathematical science, Ben has continually orchestrated creative and innovative projects for clients across a wide variety of businesses and industries. Through his business, personal endeavors, and family life, he seeks to promote integrity, honesty, and altruism within the businesses and broader communities.

Ben is the founder and current president of 5 Elements Consulting, Inc. (5-e), which started in 2001 and provides end-to-end information technology services. In this capacity, he has personally performed numerous server, network, application software/database, and desktop installations and custom configurations. He now manages a diverse talent pool of employees and contractors to leverage managed hosting, hardware installations and configurations, software installations and creations, web developments and designs, database support, and much more for hundreds of small to mid-size businesses in the southern California area. 5-e has become a resource used by these businesses to replace more traditional in-house departments with significant cost savings. As company president, Ben is essentially a technology coach providing the right and affordable technology to meet specific business strategies and goals. Ben actively personally supports the Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA). HTCIA encourages, promotes, aids and affects protection of children from internet predators. This is a voluntary organization which interchanges data, information, experience, ideas and knowledge about methods, processes, and techniques relating to investigations and security in advanced technologies (digital forensics) among its membership in protection of children from internet predators.

When not in pursuit of the latest technology, managing 5 Elements Consulting Inc., or assisting local and federal authorities, Ben manages to find the time to pursue an active social lifestyle including spending time with his wife and children, both playing and coaching soccer, and of course catching every single Arsenal game.
