The Leadership Insights Forum

Welcome to another blog from our Center for Wealth and Legacy family.  It is hard to believe that it is already March! These past two months have quickly passed but our action teams have been energetic and active in our planning efforts.  Through these groups we have had taken strides focusing not only for 2016, but also for the oncoming years.  Through the mentorship of Timi Gleason and Dominique Langerman we have embraced a collective effort to achieve wildly important goals (WIGs) through engaging talks and brainstorming sessions on developing the Center and pulling in more leaders, or as we call them now “Actionators”.

Additionally, we have changed the name of our Business Legacy Mentoring series to make it more appealing to all ages and to more appropriately detail what we offer to leaders in industry and philanthropy.  The newly branded Leadership Insights Forum will continue to highlight those that make a difference through multiple upcoming events and allow them to reflect both their leadership successes, and challenges, to mentor and inform our attendees.

Our first event of the year is quickly approaching featuring Gail K. Naughton, Ph.D., CEO and Chairman of the Board of Histogen, Inc., which she founded in 2007.

Dr. Gail Naughton has an unparalleled knowledge of both regenerative medicine and leadership and entrepreneurship. She has spent more than 25 years extensively researching the tissue engineering process, holds more than 95 U.S. and foreign patents, and has been extensively published in the field.

She served as Dean of the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University from 2002 until 2011, where she helped to make SDSU the first campus in the nation to found a Ph.D./MBA in life sciences. Since August of 2002, she has also been an Advisory Board Member of College of Business Administration Entrepreneurial Management Center of San Diego State University. In 2000, Dr. Naughton received the National Inventor of the Year award by the Intellectual Property Owners Association in honor of her pioneering work in the field of tissue engineering.

She is a highly regarded, innovative leader in our community and beyond.

So please join us on 23 March at the Leadership Insights Forum as Dr. Naughton shares:
